01 Project Overview:
・Location: Yamaguchi University
・System: Solar power system with energy storage
・Scale: Low-voltage power station
・Scope: Survey, design, procurement, installation, and regulatory procedures
・Completion: End of February 2023
02 Meeting Yamaguchi University's Needs
Yamaguchi University required a solar solution that minimized reflective glare. To meet this need, we utilized black-cell solar panels, which significantly reduce reflection and are ideal for rooftop installations.
The system was designed for self-consumption, featuring inverters capable of autonomous operation. An integrated energy storage system ensures power supply even during emergencies. In response to the university's requests, we also implemented waterproofing and earthquake-resistant measures, backed by structural strength calculations.
03 GBP's Comprehensive Solar Solutions
As the demand for carbon neutrality rises, large corporations and local governments in Japan are increasingly prioritizing renewable energy in their operations. One growing trend is the use of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), which allows solar panels or solar carports to be installed on buildings at no upfront cost. However, renewable energy solutions tailored to universities and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) remain limited, with insufficient support structures.
GBP provides complete solar power solutions, including self-consumption, PPA, Feed-in Tariff (FIT) systems, and energy storage development. We handle everything from design and procurement to installation and after-sales service.
Our offerings extend to various needs, including ground-mounted solar power plants, rooftop solar systems, warehouses, solar carports, and solar sharing/agricultural photovoltaic systems. We strive to help SMEs, universities, and local governments achieve carbon neutrality with ease.
