From June 19-21, 2024, GBP participated in InterSolar Europe in Munich, Germany. The event brought together major players and startups in renewable energy, creating a vibrant atmosphere from day one.
At our booth, we showcased a range of products that have been consistently reliable in Japan, including solar panels, DC combiner boxes, and various cables. We were well-prepared to welcome customers, led by our CEO Tatsukawa, and our team.

How to handle damaged or defective solar panels?
A significant challenge in Europe, including Germany, is how to handle damaged or defective solar panels. Through discussions with customers, we learned that the inability to procure discontinued panels from manufacturers is a major concern. While some companies can produce customized solar panels, the high cost and long lead times present additional difficulties.
GBP offers solar panels that match existing panels in size, thickness, output, and conversion efficiency. We can also meet specific needs by providing higher output and conversion efficiency options. One of the key benefits is that using our panels eliminates the need to modify existing mounting systems or replace power conditioners, making it a low-cost solution for addressing damaged panels while maintaining overall output.

Our solar panels and comprehensive solutions generated immediate interest from many attendees. Customers asked about the order process and logistics, and we provided detailed explanations of the specific steps involved.
We also actively promoted our DC combiner boxes and cables, emphasizing that GBP offers a full range of renewable energy solutions.
04 Supporting Ukraine's Reconstruction
Strong interest in partnering with us
Many companies expressed interest in partnering with us to support Ukraine's reconstruction through renewable energy and power equipment. As a Japanese company, GBP is proud to represent Corporate Japan by offering transformers, power cables, and various products and equipment to aid Ukraine. Many visitors from Ukraine and European countries stopped by our booth, expressing a strong desire to become partners with us.
05 Looking Ahead
From Germany to Europe with our technology and innovations
Participating in InterSolar Europe 2024 was a major step in expanding GBP’s global reach with Japanese-quality products and services. Over the three-day event, we engaged with over 400 customers, gaining significant confidence in the European market. We are eager to continue discussions and negotiations with the customers we met.
